1

Multiple Management Platforms

Using different platforms
to access information (ex. swapping pairings or requesting time-off) can
be very time-consuming, making it difficult for crew members to plan their life.

Two flight attendants from different airlines have been interviewed to gain insights into the needs and pain points of flight crews following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before concept development, I audited the current competitors in the market to understand what is currently available – their content and app features, navigation system, user journey, accessibility, and

visual design. We began by empathizing and understanding the air crew members pain points.
Based on the interview, here are the five pain points:

Airline pilots and flight attendants face challenges
in efficiently managing their flight schedules, communicating with crew members, and coordinating trade requests all on one platform. Existing solutions often lack a comprehensive set of features and fail
to provide a seamless and user-friendly experience.
The current system still uses web browser for air crew members to trade shifts.

The app is designed to address the pain points by offering a centralized platform that combines schedule management, communication tools, real-time updates, and shift coordination functionalities.

The aim is to improve the overall work experience for the aviation community, ensuring smooth operations while facilitating better communication among crew members.
